First Presbyterian Church - Meta Moore Fund 

 

Tuition assistance to Central Holmes Christian School is made available by the United Methodist Church Hammett Fund and the First Presbyterian Church Meta Moore Fund.  CHCS also provides minority scholarships for qualifying applicants.

 

General Requirements for these assistance programs are as follows:

•  Applicants must score at or above the 50th percentile on the standardized tests used by the school at the time of the application.

• Applicants must have maintained a ”B “Average for three previous semesters of schoolwork and must maintain a “C” average at Central Holmes Christian School to retain the assistance.  The school counselor will be asked to supply the committees with transcripts on each student.

• The applicant must adhere to all the school’s rules, regulations and by-laws.

•  To apply for any of these funds please select the appropriate link above and complete the process. 

• Letters of recommendation are also required – please see the various applications for specifications.

All complete applications are submitted to the various tuition funding source committees for decisions.  

Please refer to the applications for the required deadlines.  Each application has additional requirements. 

There is no  guarantee of  financial assistance with each completed application.

 

 

 Recipients will be notified by mail prior to the beginning of the school year.
