Chris Terry

Chris Terry

CHCS is proud to announce that Chris Terry, a native Sallis, has been named as Headmaster.  He served as assistant administrator at CHCS during the 2021-2022 school year.  Mr. Terry is a 1992 graduate of Kosciusko High School.  He graduated as Valedictorian from Holmes Community College in 1994 and graduated summa cum laude from Mississippi State University in 1996.  In 2013, Mr. Terry received his Educational Leadership degree from The University of Mississippi.  He has 26 years of service in education.  He began his educational career at Durant Public School where he taught and coached baseball and junior high football for three years.  Mr. Terry then went to Ethel High School for ten years where he taught and coached softball and baseball.  In 2009, Terry returned to his alma mater, Kosciusko, where he taught, coached baseball, and was a building administrator.  He retired from public education in 2020.  Mr. Terry’s wife, Rosie, is the librarian at KLE in Kosciusko, and his son, Luke, will be a sophomore at CHCS next year. 

 

Mr. Terry said, “I am excited about what the future holds for me and CHCS.  We have a lot of great things going on at CHCS in academics and athletics.  Our school has a great atmosphere that is conducive to learning and preparing our students for the future.  I truly believe the best is yet to come.”
