Please pray for our political leaders, national
and local Chris Russell
- Chris is an alumni of CHCS. He is in UMC in Jackson. He was admitted due to problems with his liver, but now has developed
pneumonia. Please pray for the entire Russell family. Chris is the son of Sonny and Betty Russell. His step-daughter
Laura Beth is a 5th grader here at CHCS. Olivia Williamson Vaughn - Olivia is also an alumni of CHCS. She is experiencing some health
issues which are causing pregnancy complications. She has been in the hospital but is at home now and is improving.
Pray for her and Cole and the health of their baby. They recently found out that the baby is going to be a girl.
Olivia is the daughter of Phil and Lisa Williamson and her sister Samantha is in the 10th grade at CHCS. Joseph Gill - Joseph is from Pickens.
He is the son of Susan Peel Dutka, CHA class of 1987. Joseph is 24 years old and was diagnosed
last week with Hodgkin's lymphoma. He begins chemotherapy on Wed., April 14 Dylan Kornegay - Dylan is a senior at Canton Academy.
He suffered tragic injuries while at a bon fire with friends. While near the fire, a gasoline can exploded
and Dylan was completely consumed by fire. Burns cover 100% of Dylan's body with over 75% being third degree burns or
worse. Dylan has been fighting for his life for weeks, having undergone numerous surgeries. Recently,
Dylan has been suffering from severe sepsis and requires surgery to repair blockages. His unstable condition prevents
his life saving surgery. He has already had one leg amputated. You can visit his caringbridge site Kevin Ables
- Kevin Ables graduated from CHCS in 1999. He was diagnosed with non-hodgkins lymphoma several months
ago and has been undergoing treatments since diagnosis, and only has two treatements left of chemo with the possibility of
no radiation depending on the pet scan after chemo is finished. Kevin is the son of Billy and Sandra Ables. The family of Lurlene McBride - Ms.
McBride passed away on Saturday, April 3rd. She was the mother of Betty Carroll and grandmother of Kristan Carroll,
a junior here at CHCS. Please pray for this family during their time of loss.
