Mock Election Results
- Trojan Award: We would like to reward students for the
good things that they do so we are starting a weekly award. Faculty and staff may nominate students each week for
something done that would normally go unnoticed. It can be for an act of kindness, a deed of help, or an act showing
character. Nominations will be turned in each Friday. These nominations will be posted on the website. On
Thursday of each week, one elementary and one junior high/high school students' name will be drawn. The elementary
student will be allowed to wear blue jeans on that Friday and the junior high/high school student will be entitled to eat
free at snack on Friday.
- 42 Elementary students participated in the St. Jude Math-a-Thon fundraiser. The highest donation was from Christin
Smith, 4th grade, with a total $215. The students collected a total $1946 this year.
This brings the grand total that CHCS elementary has contributed since beginning the fundraising event in 2002 to
the amount of $14,085.75. Thanks to all who allowed and encouraged their child to be involved
in our effort to help fight childhood cancer.

Each month a bake sale is held in the elementary to raise money so that we may have Fun in the Sun
Day in May. Please help with this effort to raise money, whether it be by sending the required snack on the appropriate
day or sending extra money so your child may purchase from the bake sale. Thank You!
