Athletic Physicals

All athletes must have a physical before they will be allowed to participate in any sport.  Dr. Shrock will be at the school on Thursday, August 5^th for athletic physicals.  There is no cost for this physical.  The schedule for athletes will be as follows: 

1:00 – Softball

1:30 – Pee Wee Football

2:00 – All Cheerleaders (Pee Wee, Jr. High, and High School)

2:30 – Dance Team

3:00 – Jr. High Football

3:30 – High School Football 

(If you participate in another sport not included above, please feel free to come between 1:00 and 3:00 to have your physical completed)

We would like for all of our athletes to be here at their scheduled times if at all possible.  If you see another doctor for your physical, we need the physical form no later than Monday, August 9^th.       

                         

                   

Coke Rewards Program

Our school is now registered with the Coke Rewards Program.  This program will allow us to use points, earned by purchasing coke products, to purchase supplies for CHCS.  Click here to visit our page with information about the program and what you can do to help.  You will have to complete a short registration process the first time you login to their site, but after initial login, all you have to do is click to donate your points. Tops from bottled drinks and/or the codes off of cartons or bubble wrap from other packages may also be sent to the school office.  Please help support us by taking the time to participate in this program.  It doesn't cost money, just a small amount of time.  There are many, many products that fall within this program.

Pee Wee Football Information

The CHCS Pee Wee Football team will begin practice on Monday, July 26^th, at 6:00 p.m.  Any students in grades 4-6 that are interested in playing Pee Wee football need to be at this practice.  If you cannot attend this practice please contact Coach Lloyd at 662-528-3110. 

     

                         

                   

Open House - Back to School

On Thursday, August 5th we will host an Open House (Back to School) Night beginning at 6:00 p.m.  Please try to drop by the school on this night to meet with teachers, faculty and staff.

     

                         

                   

Meet the Trojans

Chicken Plates

Meet the Trojans Night will be held on Monday, August 9^th, at 7:30 p.m.  The CHCS High School Football team will be selling chicken dinners for $10 per plate.  The meal will be served from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the school cafeteria prior to Meet the Trojans Night.  If you wish to purchase a ticket please contact Coach Lloyd at 662-528-3110 or any high school football player.  The meal will be prepared by Steve Sizemore. Thank you for your support and we look forward to seeing you at Meet the Trojans Night.  You may also contact the school office to purchase plates.

 

      

                         

                   

Junior High Cheerleaders Win Top Honors at Camp

The Jr. High Cheerleaders attended camp at Southern University. They were chosen as Camp Champions on the last day of competition. They won several first and second place ribbons and trophies along with several spirit sticks.  Four of the squad members were chosen as UCA All-Star Cheerleaders.  There are Shelby Turner, Nikki Merchant, Mady Holt, and Terrell Wynne. Congratulations to the entire squad!

                         

                   

Summer Office Hours

The office is closed until June 8th.

Beginning June 8th the office hours will be:

Tuesday and Wednesday

9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
